My country.


 My  country is sri lanka, a beautiful  island in the Indian ocean🌎.  It is also called the " pearl of the Indian ocean ". Sri lanka has a long history and rich culture. Our national flag is colorful and has a lion symbol🇱🇰.  The national flower is the blue water lily. Our national game is volleyball, and our national bird is the jungle fowl.


Sri lanka is  famous for tea, spices, and gems. It has beautiful beaches 🌊, mountains 🏔️, and forest 🍃. People of different religions live here peacefully.  Buddhism is the main religion, but all religions are respected.


We celebrate many festival like vesak, sinhala and Tamil New year, and christmas. The people are friendly and hardworking. Our ancient kings built great cities like Anuradhapura and polonnaruwa. I am proud to be a Sri lanka.

  Environment means all the natural surroundings such as land, air, water 💦,plants ☘️,animals 🐦🐿️, solid material, wastes, sunlight, forest and other things. Healthy environment maintains the natures balance as well as helps in growing, nourishing and developing all the living things on the earth. However, now a day ,some man-made technological advancement spoiling the environment in many ways which ultimately disturbs the balance or equilibrium of nature. We are keeping our lives in danger as well as existence of life in future on this planet.  We should not challenge our natural resources and stop putting so much pollution or waste to the environment. We must protect the environment.
