Sigiriya, also called the " Lion Rock " . It is a famous historical place in Sri Lanka. It is located in the Matale District. Sigiriya is a special place because it has an ancient place, beautiful gardens, pools 😀,and amazing painting 🎨. Sigiriya was built by king kashyapa a long time ago. King 👑 kashyapa built his palace on top of sigiriya. After the king's time, sigiriya became a Buddhist monastery. Sigiriya is not just a beautiful place. Sigiriya has many unique features. The Lion Gate , the Beautiful Frescoes, the Mirror wall are some of them. Sigiriya is surround by lovely gardens .There are ponds, fountains and rocks arranged in a special way .
