  Cake is one of my favorite desserts. It is sweet, soft and delicious. There are many types of cakes such as chocolate cake, vanila cake, and fruit cake. My favorite cake is chocolate cake because it has a rich taste and smells very nice.  People eat cake on special occasions like birthdays and weddings. A birthday is not complete without a cake. We cut the cake and share it with our family and friends. Cake makes people happy. I love eating cake and sharing it with others. 

  The sun is the most important source of energy for life on Earth. It is a huge ball of hot gases that gives us light and heat. Without the sun, there would be no life on our planet.  The sun rises in the east and sets in the west every day. It gives us daylight, which helps plants to grow through a process called photosynthesis. Animals and humans also depend on the sun for warmth and energy.  The sun is very important for all living beings. 

  My favorite Dance - pahatarata     Dance is a wonderful from of art that expresses emotions and culture. My favorite Dance is pahatarata dance, which is a traditional dance from in Sri Lanka.  Pahatarata dance is mainly performed in the low country areas of Sri Lanka. It is closely connected with traditional rituals and ceremonies, especially healing rituals and ceremonies, especially healing rituals know as shantikarma. The dancers wear unique and colorful costumes, and sometimes they use masks that represent different characters and spirits.  I like pahatarata dance because it reflects the rich traditions and beliefs of our country. It is not only entertaining but also meaningful, as it is connected to history and culture. Watching this dance makes me feel proud to be a Sri Lanka. 

 My favorite cartoon is Tom and Jerry. I love watching it because it is a very funny and entertaining. Tom is a cat, and Jerry is a small mouse. Tom always tries to catch Jerry, but Jerry is very clever and escaped every time.  The cartoon has many fun and exciting scenes where Tom and Jerry run around the house and play tricks on each other.  I like the way Jerry outsmarts Tom , and sometimes they also become friends. Watching Tom and Jerry makes me laugh and keeps me happy. It teaches me that we should be clever and never give up. That is why it is my favorite cartoon.
